From last season's squad we have resigned:

The new signings so far are:

Darren Murphy

Darren is a striker who played with Stevenston United last term.

Alan Baird

Alan is a striker who has also played with Darvel Juniors and Hurlford United.  He spent the end of last season with Saltcoats Victoria making 8 appearances.

Keith Graham

Keith has made 47 appearances for the club in the past, scoring 14 goals in the process.  He was the top goalscorer in season 2005/06 with 12 goals before leaving the following season with 2 goals from 15 games.  Keith played a handful of games for Saltcoats Victoria in late 2007 and returns to the club from sunday football.

Barry Taylor

This is Barry's second spell at the club.  His first season was in 2007/08 when he made 16 starting and 8 substitute appearances, but left the following season after failing to hold down a regular place.  After 2 starting and 2 substitute appearances Barry joined Newton Mearns Amateurs.  Last season he played with Stewarton Amateurs.

Smart Osadolor

Smart was with Partick Thistle U19s last season before being released.  He is a left sided player born in Nigeria and was previously farmed out to Neilston.

Chris Hanvey

Chris is a local lad who is a striker and joins the club from Girdle Toll Amateurs.

James Thompson

James is a central defender who was with Ardeer Thistle up to January of last season.  After only three appearaces he returned to the amateur ranks with Winlinton Wolves AFC.

The draw for the first round of the New Coins Automatic West Of Scotland took place at the West Region AGM this evening.  We have been drawn at home to the Premier League outfit, Petershill.

The full draw is as follows:

• Bellshill Athletic received a bye into the next round.
• No date has been set for these games.

David Patterson is currently available for transfer.

The Player's Presentation Night took place last night. 

The recipient of the Player Of The Year, Player's Player Of The Year and Manager's Player Of The Year awards was Gareth Timoney.  The remaining trophy, the Top Goalscorer, went to Kris Gilhooley.

The committe of Irvine Victoria have decided to appoint Steve Barclay as Manager, Alex Montgomery as his assistant with Brian Smith becoming a player/coach.  Anushka Persad remains as the club physio.
